Monica is CEO of Sententia Gamification, a gamification education and design consultancy based in Austin, TX, and Gamemaster of GamiCon, that annual international conference for the gamification of learning. She is a former Corporate Executive, an influential speaker, and author of four books including her most recent co-authored with Jonathan Peters, PhD – Deliberate Fun.

Monica overcame massive biases and negative attitudes to not only break into a male-dominated field, but to become an internationally recognized player in thinking differently to create uncommon results. A gamification speaker and designer, Monica was rated #1 among the “Gamification Gurus Power 100” by RISE in 2015-2019; and was also recognized as a Top 3 Finalist in the “Gamification Guru of the Year Award” by the World Gamification Congress held in Barcelona, Spain.

She is a graduate of Seton Hill with a BA in psychology, and The University of Houston-Victoria where she earned an MS in Economic Development and Entrepreneurship. Monica is hired for her skill as a gamification speaker and is considered at the top of her field in gamification design for corporate learning.

Amy Morrisey, president of Artisan E-Learning, has spent her career in learning and development. Before working with Artisan, Amy spent 17 years in corporate training and development as a classroom trainer and executive coach teaching sales training and coaching international teams to deliver persuasive business case presentations. During her tenure with Artisan, Amy has helped Artisan define its culture, drive business goals with real data, and realize operational efficiencies to double production capacity. While the day-to-day operation of the company takes most of her time, her passion for giving learners solid training with actionable results means that she’s usually elbow-deep in a project or two as well.

As the founder of Lillico Learning Solutions, Keith works with clients to build training that is accessible to all learners including those who have disabilities. Keith, a certified Gamification Master Craftsman, combines game-design elements and principles with progressive views on learning theories to enhance traditional instructional design within the industry.

In 2019 Keith was the receipt of the Association for Talent Development One to Watch Award as well as a Brandon Hall Award for Best Blended Learning Program.

Chuck Sigmund is the L&D Senior Business Program Manager for Xbox Worldwide. His days are filled with creativity, innovation, and, of course, gaming. As a leader in the digital customer support space, Chuck has driven the use of new technologies to enable customers and support advocates to resolve their challenges more quickly, efficiently, and effectively. With a Master’s Degree in Adult Education and Training, Chuck works to develop L&D programs that generate measurable results from beginning to end. He is a regularly invited presenter at national and international L&D conferences where he shares his expertise on designing engaging and impactful learning experiences.

Mark Gindick

Mark Gindick is a professional actor, clown, physical comedian, director, teacher and writer/creator. Mark has appeared in major feature films and has been on The Late Show with David Letterman and Late Night with Conan O’Brien. He was also featured in The PBS mini-series CIRCUS and performed at the Edinburgh Theatre Festival.

He has performed in circuses such as Cirque Du Soleil, Ringling Brothers and the Big Apple Circus. Mark currently teaches at SUNY Purchase College and hosts live games for The Game Agency. Mark’s unique blend of vaudeville, dance, and physical comedy earned him three Golden Nose Awards.

Jeffrey Riley

Jeffrey Riley has over 30 years’ experience in the learning industry as an educator and in the business world. He has worked with businesses in several industries including insurance, retail, financial services, city government, and construction. In 2018, Jeffrey worked with the Construction Financial Managers Associate to create a board game for the financial managers to play at their annual conference. The game was so successful that it is still played at regional meetings.

Currently, Jeffrey is a Gamification Master Craftsman with Sententia Games and the owner of Practical Learning Concepts consulting with businesses to implement eLearning, and gamification. He is consulting with Dr. Ray Jimenez with online workshops in Workflow Learning.

I am the only person I know who is using xAPI in Articulate Storyline, wrapped in an Escape Room theme, and adding an LMS. This will demonstrate how xAPI, Javascript, and Gamification can be presented to the learner and used to report data beyond a score and completion.

Along with his professional work, Jeffrey is the Technology Special Interest Group Director for the MID NJ ATD Chapter in New Jersey and heads up the Technology Showcase for the Chapter October 7, 2020. He is also a leader of the Greater Philadelphia Instructional Design Meetup Group.

Using Sententia’s Match-a-Mo game, we will play with matching game mechanics with our learner personas.


Jonathan Peters

Jonathan Peters, PhD, is the Chief Motivation Officer at Sententia. He has spent over a decade studying the science and art of motivation and persuasion. As a speaker, he has helped audiences from Melbourne, Australia to Augusta, Maine more effectively communicate with their customers and team-members. With Sententia, he applies his knowledge and experience to make learning more enticing, engaging, and encouraging through gamification.

Dr. Peters is the co-author of “The Motivators and Mechanics: The Purposeful Application of Game Mechanics and Dynamics to Learning Experiences.” He is also an adjunct professor at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, though he calls Austin, Texas home.

Robin Seaton Rokisky is a hands-on Organizational Change Consultant with over 30 years cross-industry experience and a pure unadulterated passion for helping individuals, teams and organizations perform successfully through change.

Robin has consulted internationally with a variety of for-profit and non-profit organizations such as FujiFilm, PNC Bank, Norton St. Gobain, Highlights for Children, and the Girl Scouts USA – to name a few.

She is known for adding measurable value while achieving mission initiatives with both professional energy and FUN!

Rokisky is a Sententia Level 3 Master Craftsman in Gamification, and the owner of Seaton Delta Consulting and Gabriel Programs LLC. She is a member of ISPI, SHRM, ATD, PMI, and ACMP; currently serving on the Student Outreach committee. She is also the USA Director for Skills Link Network, an NGO in Uganda, Africa, providing experiential learning with integrated coaching that empowers young people to become responsible and enterprising citizens.

Along with her professional adventures Robin sings with the Canton Symphonic Orchestra Chorus, and sometimes vocalizes at home with her Siamese cat “JAZ.”
